I remember taking the picture above as my dad fed the swamp macaques with groundnuts bought from a roadside stalls.
The macaques of Tanjung Ketapang live in the trees of the mangrove swamp forests, but they regularly get their food from either visitors (who feed them with fruit and/or nuts) or raiding nearby food stalls at night.
